Students enrolled in an Associate Degree Nursing Program throughout our surrounding area have the option to apply for our Student Nurse Internship Program. Students are eligible after completing one semester of school and can participate in the program until graduation. This gives students the opportunity to work alongside a Registered Nurse to obtain hands-on experience and critical thinking skills.
In partnership with the Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA), students enrolled in an Associate Degree Nursing Program have the opportunity to participate in the Student Nurse Externship Program. After completing two semesters of school, students can participate in this summer program. Student Nurses can work the same schedule as their preceptor to obtain an in-depth learning experience of bedside patient care.
New-Graduate Registered Nurses now have the opportunity for formal training when transitioning from the classroom to bedside nursing. This comprehensive 12-month program provides new nurses the opportunity to view different specialties of nursing when deciding what area is best for them. Nurses receive a full year of training before establishing care for patients. Learn from experienced nurses as well as attend seminars by Legal, Accreditation, Respiratory, Pharmacy, and more. To apply, visit Nurse Resident Application.
We recognize and reward Registered Nurses who exemplify nursing leadership in the workplace and the community. The program focuses on growth through professional development, service delivery, clinical expertise, and research and evidence-based practice.
Anderson provides educational reimbursement plans to assist nurses in advancing their degrees and growing professional within the workplace.
