
The professionals of Anderson Regional Medical Center’s Sports Medicine program provide sports medicine care to athletes and active individuals of all ages. Our athletic patients span the spectrum of professional, collegiate and high school competitors.
Our Sports Medicine program emphasizes injury prevention, specialized rehabilitative strategies, and highly advanced surgical techniques to treat injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee.
Our athletic trainers are dedicated to the athletes they assist, providing coverage at a wide array of sporting events year ‘round. We work with student athletes at the following schools:
Our physicians conduct on-the-field evaluation and management of illnesses
and injuries. They coordinate medical care and treatment including surgical
and non-surgical options and rehabilitation. The physicians also assist
in conditioning and training regiments, give advice on the impact of dietary
supplements, pharmaceuticals and nutrition, and provide injury prevention
education with the use of athletic equipment and orthotic devices such
as knee braces and foot orthoses.
You’ll have a full spectrum of rehabilitation services to help you
heal, including inpatient care immediately following surgery and outpatient
rehabilitation services.
