Dr. Andrea Goodwin, Obesity Medicine Specialist, works closely with patients who are considering this surgery to ensure they have the education, information and support they need to be successful. Patients receive individual consultations, participate in classes and have access to support groups to prepare them for the physical, mental and emotional changes that may occur.
The Bariatric Surgery Support Group meets the second Thursday of every month at 5:45pm at Meridian Weight Management Center. The group is open to anyone who has had bariatric surgery.
